1. What We Collect

Trajectory processes the content you provide — your resume and job posting text — solely to help you navigate your career journey. We do not create accounts, store your data between sessions, or link your submissions to any personal identifier.

• Resume content — uploaded as a PDF/DOCX or pasted as text. Processed in memory; not persisted after your session ends.
• Job posting content — URL-fetched or pasted text. Processed in memory; not persisted after your session ends.
• Usage data — anonymous request logs (IP address, timestamp, response status) retained for up to 30 days for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your content is used exclusively to:

• Parse and structure your resume.
• Analyze role alignment and identify gaps.
• Generate a tailored resume and application answer drafts.
• Export your resume as a DOCX or PDF file.

We do not use your resume content to train AI models, for advertising, or for any purpose beyond generating your requested output.

3. Third-Party AI Processing

Trajectory uses the Anthropic Claude API to process your content. Your resume and job posting text are sent to Anthropic's servers to generate AI outputs. Anthropic's data usage is governed by their Privacy Policy. We use Anthropic's API under a commercial agreement, which means your prompts are not used to train their models.

4. Data Retention

Your resume and job posting content are processed in-memory and are not stored in any database. Once your browser session ends, your content is gone. Anonymous request logs are retained for up to 30 days then automatically deleted.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We may use strictly necessary session cookies to maintain your workflow state within a single browser session.

6. Children's Privacy

Trajectory is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
